May 19th Worship: The Commission
If you have ever heard mention of “The Great Commission,” then you may be aware of its power in Christianity. Millions and millions of Christians consider it their duty to evangelize, to make disciples, and bring the Gospel truth to others. This is not about thumping people over the head with the Bible, knocking on doors, and bombarding people with church speak. Instead, the opportunity to share our faith is as diverse as all of Creation. There are as many ways as there are people in the world. Some of us use words, and some use actions. This Sunday at 9:30 am or 11:00 am, we break down the words Jesus spoke canonized as “The Great Commission,” and invite you to discover some aspects of the Scripture often overlooked and underappreciated.
