Good Morning Crozet UMC!
It’s hard to believe that we are now well into May!
One of the things that I’m most excited about that’s happening right now at Crozet UMC are the connections that are being made as a result of the Time and Talent Survey that was launched during Lent! The response was amazing and a testament to the ways that so many people are called to share their gifts in service to others, both in the church and in our community. I met with our Lay Leaders this week for 2 hours and we shared our excitement about what God is doing here. Our hope is that as people continue to serve in the places where they are being nudged, we will all grow in our faith. It’s not too late to complete the survey. Click on the link above, or look for the yellow forms in the Sanctuary!
Another highlight of my week was celebrating the last (inside) preschool Chapel with CACP. It was amazing to see what they have learned this year. We have talked about ALL of the Fruit of the Spirit. We’ve learned about lighting the candles in worship as a sign of Jesus’ light. We’ve learned Chapel songs and seasons and colors and holy days in the church year. I am looking forward to joining CACP students, staff, and families for the Chapel Picnic next week. We’ll be celebrating all that we’ve learned in chapel this year!
I’m excited to be turning the corner into Summer as well as working toward our family’s official move to Crozet later this month. Can’t wait to see what God has in store for all of us in the upcoming months. If you have a favorite health or service provider in the area (general practitioner, eye doctor, vet, stylist, etc.), please don’t hesitate to let us know. We are in the market and want to support our local Crozet businesses!
I hope to see you soon!
