Beyond the Pulpit 5.25.25

Dear CUMC Church Family,

Beyond the pulpit this week, I’ve been working to maintain a healthy work-life balance in the midst of a busy time for both CUMC and our family. The first part of the week was filled with meetings with Church Council, prospective members, leaders, and community boards. The last part of the week was filled with celebrating your youngest son’s graduation, packing our home in Midlothian, and making our official move to Crozet! By the time you read this, we will officially be CROZETIANS, and we are very glad about that!

We will be taking some time as a family in the coming week to unpack and get settled into the parsonage. We appreciate your ongoing support. I am especially grateful for your prayers for this extended pastoral transition, and I am committing to being fully present with you as we move forward together.
