Good Morning Church Family,
I hope you’ve had a great week. It started off a bit snowy. It was pretty while it lasted. On Monday, I was able to work from home helping to cancel/reschedule various church meetings and events (like Grace Grocery distribution!), and do a bit of Christmas decorating, too!
Tuesday and Wednesday were busy with pastoral care visits. I also met with Pastor Liz at Tabor Presbyterian Church to plan our Blue Christmas Service which is scheduled for 5:30pm, Sunday, December 21 at Tabor. If you have experienced any kind of loss that is weighing you down in this season of hustle and bustle, I hope you’ll carve out time to join us for this meaningful service where we allow space to acknowledge that grief and joy can exist simultaneously.
On Wednesday evening I was able to attend a lovely Christmas dinner with the UWF Rebecca’s Circle at the home of Ann Toms.
Thursday was a day in the office taking care of a variety of things from worship prep to 2026 scheduling!
I am looking forward to seeing you all in the coming weeks as we continue to “Insist on Hope This Advent.” Please, invite family, friends, and neighbors to join us for worship. The more, the merrier!
Advent Blessings,
Christy
