Happy Easter Crozet Family!
I want to extend my heartfelt thanks and deep gratitude to everyone who made Easter at Crozet UMC so meaningful and memorable last Sunday. From those who attended for worship to the pre-dawn setup on the front lawn, to preparing both the exterior and interior of the church, to extra rehearsals and last-minute adjustments, every detail reflected care and dedication. Despite the misty weather, the egg hunt brought smiles, the breakfast was a joy to share, and three worship services beautifully brought Christ’s presence to life. The spirit of Easter was truly alive in every moment. It was an extraordinary day, made possible by countless individuals who gave their time and energy so willingly and joyfully. Thank you for bringing the hope, joy, and love of Easter to life at Crozet UMC.
And guess what…it’s STILL Easter! Easter is more than a day…it’s an entire season in the church year that extends the joy and gift of the Risen Christ. The Easter Season takes us all the way to Pentecost, and during this time we’ll be returning to our Wesleyan roots, continuing to learn about the unique characteristics we have as United Methodists. This will naturally flow into a brief series on the new vision for the United Methodist Church, and this will lead us right up to Confirmation Sunday on May 17, when we will receive new members into our church family who are ready to commit to living out their faith through Crozet UMC. It is certain to be an exciting time! and I look forward to continuing our journey of faith together. See you soon!
