Easter
Easter does not look how we planned, but then again, the first Easter did not look how the Apostles planned either. They never thought in less than a week Jesus would be dead, or that one of their own would have betrayed him. They awoke that first Easter morning to a world we have never known: one where Jesus was dead and hope along with him. We awake to the gift of knowing the joy and the truth: He is Risen! While we are not able together as we had hoped, we can still awaken with celebration, shouts of Hallelujah, and tell the Good News.
