Missions

We are the hands, feet, heart, and mind of Christ in service to women, children and youth in the Crozet area, the United States, and around the world. UWF gives all women an opportunity to serve others by putting to use the individual gifts that God has given each of us. Crozet United Methodist Church partners with Rise Against Hunger to fund, assemble, package, and ship thousands of meals for those in need. Working at multiple assembly stations, we combine rice, soy, and dehydrated vegetables with 23 vitamins and minerals into small meal pouches then package and palletize the meals for shipment. Through our partnership with Rise Against Hunger, we can make an impact far beyond Crozet Virginia. It is important. In countries where much of the population is facing hunger, even the simplest meal can make a difference. For more information contact George at info@crozetunitedmethodist.com.

In every community, neighbors with needs are surrounded by Christians with skills and resources, who are called to help. Love INC helps churches provide holistic care for their neighbors by coordinating specific, manageable opportunities that mobilize the resources, gifts, and relationships of their congregations. Providing things like furniture, food pantries, and life skills classes, Love INC helps churches work across denominational lines to meet the tangible and intangible needs of their community. For more information contact Dave at david@loveinccville.org.

Spend an hour on Sunday afternoon reaching out to residents of the Lodge at Old Trail who might not be able to make it to worship on Sunday morning. We meet in the Activity Room at the Lodge and show our traditional worship service to the residents via YouTube. This is an opportunity to serve a small but very grateful segment of our Crozet UMC family.  The service starts at 2 PM and finishes by 3 PM. Meet and talk to some of our vintage citizens and longtime residents of Crozet. This is fun, easy and all you need to know is how to turn on the TV. For more information contact Mike at info@crozetunitedmethodist.com.
