Congregational Care

The Congregational Care Team supports compassionate, confidential ways to demonstrate support for our pastor, staff, and the people in our church as well as our community. Crozet UMC’s Prayer Shawl ministry fills a critical need to help people who are experiencing difficult health issues or those who may be grieving. It also allows you to create something physical that can communicate God’s great love for us and our care for each other. No matter what your skill level, it is possible to participate. You may knit, sew, or crochet, selecting your own pattern and materials, or you can use one of the “starter kits.” For more information contact us at info@crozetunitedmethodist.com.

Prayer Ministry Team Members are committed to praying faithfully for the needs of our congregation and community throughout the week. Team members receive weekly prayer requests by email and are asked to pray for each request at least once each week, listening for the Holy Spirit’s guidance as they intercede on behalf of others. Through this ministry, Prayer Team Members help our church live out its mission to Love, Grow, and Go by surrounding others with Christ’s love through the gift of faithful, consistent prayer.
