Anti-Religion & The Non-Practicing Christian
Believers who reject religious practice have existed since the beginning of divine encounters. It reflects a misunderstanding of what purpose practice has in our lives and way of being. To think that one can maintain a strong bonded relationship with God and not put in the work necessary leads to a tunnel vision faith, one that is solely understood from one perspective, rather than enriched and enlivened by the interweaving of spirituality with others. It denies us the gift of a spiritual journey with others at our side and sentences us to a lonely walk. This week we dig deep into the prophetic word of the Prophet Ezekiel who adamantly warned against such ways. Associated Scripture: Ezekiel 20:13-20
