Beloved, Pray for Us: Prayer with Conviction
Crozetumc   -

This week we explore another lesson from Jesus about prayer.  When Peter notices that Jesus was able to curse and wither a fig tree with just his words, he points it out to Jesus with astonishment.  Jesus responds with a command to have faith and believe in what we pray, not only that it can be done, but that God is able to do all things.  Sometimes we can treat our prayers of petition like a dare, rather than knowing that God can and shall do what is best.  When we pray with conviction, we discover that we not only honor the God to whom we pray, but we are revealing our faith in our God to transform our situations, our lives, and our very being.  Come and see this with us!
