Dealing with Disappointment: Disappointed in Yourself
This month we confront feelings of and experiences with disappointment. No matter what your political position, our country is heading towards an election where the results and aftermath will leave a significant portion of our fellow people in disappointment. Everyone experiences disappointment; from the student who gets a rejection letter from a college to the loss of a loved one to having our hopes and dreams dashed, so how can we deal with these oppressive feelings and move forward? Join us at Crozet UMC as we delve into Scripture and see the examples God has provided for us there to give us hope and ground our responses. We begin with disappointment in ourselves.
