Esther: Model Servant of Advocacy
The story of Esther is one of justice triumphing over scheming and machinations of the hateful Haman, but even deeper within is a commentary about using one’s power for the good of others. The Church calls this the blessing of advocacy, and we use for social justice, to combat institutionalized sins, and right legalized injustices. This Sunday our worship will explore what the example of Esther can inspire in us as we too journey towards love and justice for all.
