Fueling Our Faith: The Public Worship of God
This week we begin a new Worship series exploring the means of grace God provides through the Church, the Body of Christ. They have been given to nurture our spirituality, fuel our faith, and create a family of faith. Every year the number of people who claim to be spiritual, but not religious grows. Jesus Christ was both, and called us to be likewise. On Sunday, we begin with the worship, and the call to be in community as we do. In divine wisdom, healthy public worship encourages, enriches, and excites us as disciples. There is good reason why Jesus will not let us stay sequestered from other Christians.
