Go: Serve All Like Abraham
Our Lenten Worship Series begins this Sunday by looking at those in the Bible who model for us what going forth to serve all might look like. We begin with a paragon of faith, one who chose to believe God’s promises long before they were tangible: Abraham. Abraham was wealthy, successful, and powerful. Monarchs and political leaders listened and respected Abraham and all because God was with him. We believe that God is with us too, so how might we use that power and influence to help others? Not only can we wield our power as individuals, but as the Body of Christ, a force beyond measure guided by our Lord himself. Associated Scripture: Genesis 18:17-33
