Inspiring Saints: Saint Valentine, The Patron Saint of Love
Secular culture has embraced the Feast Day of Saint Valentine, choosing to celebrate love on February 14, but the love for which Saint Valentine is celebrated was by no means a romantic one. Like Jesus, Saint Valentine focused his faith and efforts on loving God and all people. Perhaps by delving deeper into who Valentine was, we can find another means of appreciating Valentine’s Day this year. Associated Scripture: Mark 12:28-31
