Palm Sunday
This is the day when Christians across the whole earth recall and celebrate Jesus’ triumphant entry into the holy city of Jerusalem. Scores of people had traveled from all over the known world to celebrate the festival of Passover, the religious holiday that recounted the mighty acts of salvation and deliverance from bondage in Egypt which God had done for God’s people. Little did those gathered realize that once more God’s salvation would be revealed as God delivered all people from sin and death for all time in Christ’s offering of himself on the cross.
