Pentecost: Come Holy Spirit
Today Christians all over the world celebrate the beginning of the Church, so come and join us as we proclaim “Happy Birthday” to one of the greatest means of grace God has given to humankind. The Church is more than a building; it is the movement of the Holy Spirit in God’s people, drawing us together and sending us forth in power and love. When the Holy Spirit first came upon the Apostles and was unleashed in the world, the crowds were amazed at what ordinary men could do, and today is no different. Come and discover the mighty acts Christians are empowered and called to do in the name of Jesus Christ through the presence of the Holy Spirit. God’s gift has not waned, and the Church is still a vital part of God’s plan for this world.
