Sealed in the Tomb: Keeping Silent about Church
It has become very commonplace, even popular, to believe that our faith is something to be hidden, compartmentalized from the life we live outside of the Church. Jesus addressed this mindset in his sermon on the mount. He knew that people would be inclined to hide the Gospel for a number of reasons, but he refused to accept excuses of embarrassment, being uncomfortable, or worried what others would think. The Gospel of God’s love and salvation is meant for all people, and we are meant to be part of that proclamation. Join us as we find ways to do this without being pompous or obnoxious.
