Unrealistic Expectations and Their Origins: Christians Are Better Than Non-Christians
Crozetumc   -

Often we hear the charge that we who call ourselves Christians think that we are better than others, especially non-Christians.  Or the notion that our faith in Jesus Christ makes us better than non-believers.  Yet the Bible does not affirm this.  In fact, this Sunday the Apostle Paul argues the opposite: that our weakness as Christians is an opportunity for God’s strength to be revealed.  See for yourself that we are not expected to be super human or hold ourselves over others, but that God makes a way for us to discover the freedom from such a burdensome concept, so that we can enjoy the grace we have received and serve without fear of failure. Associated Scripture: 2 Corinthians 12:5-10.
